      Brief introduction

      Li Yanglong is a Professor of English with academic interests in translation studies and applied linguistics at Beihang University. He received his BA from Sichuan International Studies University, MA from Western Michigan University, USA, and PhD from Tsinghua University. He was a visiting scholar from 2004 to 2005 at the Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies, University of Manchester, UK. Professor Li was awarded the title of “Outstanding Teacher” both by COSTIND in 2006 and Baosteel Education Foundation in 2008.

      He has published more than 30 articles and authored, co-authored or translated 14 books.
